“She doesn’t walk well but she does SOAR!”
Christian Ministry Leaders have said about Jo's speaking: “Joy is so evident in you, Jo,” “You are such an encouragement,” and “You’re a Beth Moore with MS!” among other things.
I admit I just love listening to God in prayer as he leads me to prepare talks that will equip and inspire others to:
- SOAR in their faith fearlessly, joyfully, and intentionally; which includes letting go of hurts and past pain.
- Hunger for Bible reading and study so knowing Christ intimately becomes a lifestyle.
- Know God as their “Daddy” Father like Jesus did, and as the apostle Paul says we can.
- Live a life of praise and thanks to God in order to soar unafraid in life.
I’ve faced many trials, including living with MS (Multiple Sclerosis) since 1977 and an unwanted divorce, but I wouldn't trade any of these for the deepening of my relationship with Christ. That growth is shared whether I teach from the Bible, share stories, or sing. And humor is a part of my life and speaking!
Whether at a women’s retreat, conference, or banquet, or in a worship/church service or at a youth event, I want to bring glory to Jesus!
